Al Habtoor said, “I commend our police force. It protects our citizens on a daily basis, 24 hours around the clock. Maintaining the security within the country is just as important as keeping the security outside of our borders. This is why I would like to extend the benefits for the Dubai Police to match the special rates we give to the army at our hotels and real estate interests.”
The announcement follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Dubai Police in October last year which provided Dubai police force personnel with special discounts at Al Habtoor Group entities including at Al Habtoor City hotels and La Perle. The Al Habtoor Group also regularly sponsor of the White Points System, which was launched by Dubai Police in 2012 to reward valid license holders for good driving.
Last week the Al Habtoor Group signed a MoU with the Armed Forces of the UAE to allow special discounts at Al Habtoor Group hotels, restaurant, leisure and entertainment facilities in the UAE and internationally.
Al Habtoor said the special rates for Dubai Police will match that of the UAE armed forces, providing staff with a 50 per cent discount at Al Habtoor Group hotels in Dubai and internationally, as well as a 20 percent reduction at the Group’s leisure and entertainment facilities. It also includes special rates on the apartments at Al Habtoor City Residence Collection, which are in high demand.
The Al Habtoor Group has seven hotels in the UAE and seven abroad; The St Regis Dubai, W Dubai – Al Habtoor City, The Westin Dubai, Al Habtoor City, The Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah, The St. Regis Dubai, Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club, The Habtoor Grand Resort, Autograph Collection and The Metropolitan Dubai.
